      Hi,

This morning I upgraded to the build 2.0-BETA5  (i386) built on Sun Feb 6 23:54:00 EST 2011. After rebooting, the dashboard in the web console said "We have detected a crash report. Click here for more information."

I clicked on the link and was taken to the Crash reporter screen, which showed this:

Unfortunately we have detected a kernel crash (panic). If you are unfamiliar with kernel panics wikipedia has information here.

Would you like to submit the crash debug logs to the pfSense developers for inspection?

      Contents of crash reports:

Crash report begins.  Anonymous machine information:

      FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p2 #1: Sun Feb  6 23:51:47 EST 2011     sullrich@FreeBSD_8.0_pfSense_2.0-snaps.pfsense.org:/usr/obj.pfSense/usr/pfSensesrc/src/sys/pfSense_SMP.8

      Crash report details:

      2048

I clicked the "yes" button to submit the crash report and then rebooted. Again the "We have detected a crash report" message appeared in the dashboard. I rebooted a couple of more times and finally the message did not appear. After that, I tried rebooting a couple of more times and the message did not reappear.

I'm not sure if this is a problem but I thought I'd post a message about it just in case.

        False positive.

The detection was fixed earlier today, should be in the next new snapshot or the one after.

A real crash report would have a lot more detail, that's just the contents of the file "minfree" instead of the actual dump info.
