Intel x520 doesnt work, probably ixgbe driver for amd64

    I've been looking for ixgbe.ko module for amd64.
    I cant get it, everytime I plug my intel x520 network card , I get fatal trap.

      The X520-series is based on the 82599 chip which I don't believe is supported under FreeBSD 8.1.  You can try compiling a driver from Intel if one is available.  You'd want to install FreeBSD on a separate box, compile the driver, then move it over.

      I can break anything.
