    We were looking at SonicWall for its GMS application to manage hundred of different installations, then I stumbled upon PFSense.  Is there anyway to manage a large number of different (separate client) installations?  I see Untangle has partnered with Level Platforms and N-Able (thought I'm not sure exactly what they do).

    Two things I am looking for (1) being able to login to all installations, (2) being able to make mass update changes to multiple installations, (3) being able to monitor the network on multiple installations and get email/sms alerts when a system is down.  IP Ping would be sufficient here.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks.

    DB

        There is a tool in the works for doing this, pfCenter.
        However not much is known about it outside the lead developers.

        Edit: Took too long typing!  ::)

          That looks perfect, any estimation of when a beta will be online?  1 month, 6 months, 1 year?

          Thanks so much, I am hoping within a few months!

              It's all being kept carefully under wraps. The only clue we ever has was this tweet in which Scott says:

              @Scott:

              Later this summer we will change how large scale deployments of pfSense are managed

              Clearly that time period has passed so you'd have to ask Scott.  :-\
