      Hi,

      Just need to clarify something.
I installed PFsense 2.0 release and installed squid as well. There seems to be some logs saying that Squid is running by there is no /var/cache for it. Asking me to run squid -z.
I installed the pfsense using auto and it seems that I cannot open the 500gb hard disc.
Any recommendation. I read some manuals and some sites asking to install pfsense manually and create a /var for the cache. Is this absolutely necessary? newbie at this.

      Regards.

Yo don't need to create any directory. With the package install squid should be using /var/squid/cache (check squid server settings for cache)
