Auto-Update broken on SNAP Sat Jan 29 01:09:59
-
Hi,
i use the Snap from Sat Jan 29 01:09:59. Today, tried to update. The Dashboard reports "Update available", but when i click, the
System: Firmware: Auto Update-Page (below the "invoke update-button"is says:\n Not Found \n The requested URL /FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_HEAD/.updaters//version was not found on this server. \n\n\n Update source: http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_HEAD/.updaters/\n"; this.document.forms[0].output.scrollTop = this.document.forms[0].output.scrollHeight;
When i try to invoke the auto-update, it says: "There has been an error verifying the signature on this image.".
i am afraid to try a manual update, because he system is running in production.
Has anyone an idea?
Thanks,Sascha :)

Sorry, i just read the post about the broken update-server.
Is it possible, that my update-problem and the strange output has to do with the broken update-server?
Wait and see…cheers, Sascha

The GUI bit should be fixed after the next update. :-)
In the meantime, be patient. No reason to go chasing down a new snapshot unless you're having an issue that needs fixed. It's been pretty stable since Monday or so. Not much in the way of big changes.
