[SOLVED] Problem with SSH admin user & password after upgrading
-
I upgraded one of my nanoBSD boxes from 1.2.3 to 2.0.
I writed the CF, I did the minimal configuration and I uploaded 1.2.3 xml configuration.
Everything working…
WebGUI user/password is correct. The user identifier is not admin.
But SSH user admin continues having default password pfsense (?)
And I can't change it from SSH console:
[2.0-RELEASE][admin@myfirewall.mydomain.tld]/root(1): passwd admin Changing local password for admin New Password: Retype New Password: passwd: pam_chauthtok(): error in service module
Any idea? Thanks in advance!

Try to run /etc/rc.conf_mount_rw before passwd
-
It worked!
Many thanks, marcelloc!
