      Hi!

Is there any workaround to allow squid/squidguard to filter mac addresses?

Say, I want to allow a client with a certain macaddress so there's no site filtering
is done for the client alone.

I know this is possible but a guide on pfsense will be a good starting point.

      Thanks!

Pfsense and firewall are on the same network segment?

            1. Use Static DHCP mapping on you DHCP Server (pfSense or other) for clients MAC & add assigned IPs to proxy option 'Bypass proxy for these source IPs'
            or
            2. Look CaptivePortal

Yeah, I never thought of that… It just that I always do mac address filtering before. Thanks!
