FreeBSD is so frustrating sometimes.
This freebsd mailing list thread says this card works with right kernel ko.
I guess I have remove pfsense 2.01 and install FreeBSD 8 and work from there.http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2008-November/000047.html

The iwi driver doesn't support hostap mode as far as I can tell.
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=iwi&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+8.1-RELEASE&arch=default&format=html
JimP's list agrees: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AojFUXcbH0ROdHgwYkFHbkRUdV9hVWljVWl5SXkxbFE&hl=en#gid=0

Edit: Are you trying to use hostap mode?

Im trying to setup a basic access point with the card.
Trying to do AP with WAP2 AES2.
So no HOSTAP == NO access point of any kind.
This sucks …...This card does support it look here.

I don't see any trace of hostap even in FreeBSD 9 for iwi, so I wouldn't really get your hopes up. That driver you linked to is for Linux, so probably not possible to translate it over.
Certainly less trouble to just get a supported card rather than fight the iwi.
