Outbound NAT
-
Hello,
I have a device on my network for my internet monitored alarm system. The device keeps going up and down in visibility to the alarm company - another person on this forum has got this resolved, their advice to me was
"In outbound NAT, you need a static port rule for the IP of your Alarm box"
However, I've tried various settings to achieve this but really I don't know what I am doing. Could someone help me set up outbound NAT from LAN to WAN?
Many thanks in advance
Jon

Above the auto-added rules, add a rule for interface WAN, source IP of your alarm, destination any, check static port. Save, apply changes.

What do you mean with auto-added rules?
Before switching to AON I manually added the outbound rules.
Do you mean these rules would have been created by the system if this list was empty? -

Thanks cmb. I've tried it but I must have a mistake - still get the email from the alarm company that they only see me intermittently. If my IP of my alarm box is 192.168.1.9 then in the source it should be written 192.168.1.9/32 is that correct?

That's correct. Make sure it's the first one in the list, first match wins.

Yes.
