hi, i have been using shrew soft vpn client which was working fine till recently. i dont know what has caused the issue now i can connect to the network but cant browse network shares. can access intranet page, can do RDP to servers. but when i tried to access shares it is saying windows couldn't find. if i browse by server name in my windows explorer i can only see the intranet content as shares but not actual file shares. some one please help. pfsense version is 1.2.3 release. windows 7 OS. thanks

Hard to say really. There are alot of factors. I would start with trying to access them via IP and not name. There could have been an update that has re-enabled a OS firewall. Could be something on the server or local network that is off.

i tried with IP address aswell which returns nothing, no error, no shares. weird thing is i can access shares by server name & IP from my XP mode. any idea? i am thinking it could be the problem with my Win7 OS. firewall on both my PC and server are off. do you think of Anti-Virus?? cheers

IF you can get to it from another machine, then yes, it is going to be something like an antivirus or something like that.
