What's the point of listing different info for the same package, depending on if it's installed or not?

Specifically, installed packages are listed with a column called "Package Info", which is just as interesting for an uninstalled package (one might want to read this stuff BEFORE deciding to install the package), while on the other hand uninstalled/available packages are listed with a column called "Status", which is just as important for installed packages, particularly when it comes to track down likely troublemakers, when one might investigate Alpha packages before checking out Beta packages before investigating packages listed as Stable or Final.

So could we please have all columns for all packages, regardless if they are installed or not?
