      Hi.

Anyone know if ZOTAC H61-ITX WiFi (mortherboard) is supported by pfsense 2.0.1?
Looked up the hardware compatibility list, but could not find "Azurewave Wifi Module". :(

I think it's an Atheros chip, so it might work. However, the WiFi-card is mounted in the PCI Express Mini-slot so you are able to change to whatever wifi-card you want. There are several cheap Intel-cards on ebay for example.

I am struggling to find a reference to what card they are supplying.
However since it's 802.11N it's almost certainly not going to be supported by pfSense 2.0.X out of the box. Definitely not at 'N' speeds.
There's a good chance it would have some support under 2.1 if it's Atheros.

          Steve

For 8$ you get full compability I guess :)

Do you want your pfSense to act as a WiFi Access Point?

Is Access Point mode supported on this card in pfSense? If I recall correctly, Access Point mode is NOT reported in the supported modes of most Intel cards.

The man page for the FreeBSD iwn driver (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=iwn&sektion=4&manpath=FreeBSD+8.1-RELEASE) says its for the Intel 4965 but doesn't list access point as one of the supported modes.

Ah. Well, the best is to look for cards in the hardwarelist then. Pick one with AGBN and accesspoint-support.
