Ignore Q67 chipset network card at boot ?

Hi :)
It seems to me that the onboard network card from my Intel Q67 board is not yet supported. If the buildin lan port is enabled, pfsense stops booting when it tries to handle that adapter.No problem for me, I dont need that port for pfsense.
But I would like to use it for Intel AMT.
Is it possible to configure pfsense to ignore that network card completely at bootup.
Is that possible?

Specifically which Intel NIC chip is on your board?
Intel have many Q67 based boards. A lot of them have the 82579LM NIC.
As reported here this NIC is supported by the X64 version of pfSense 2.0.1 and by the test builds of 2.1 (32 and 64 bit).Steve

82579LM didn't work for me in pfsense 2.01 x64… so your mileage may vary.

I have changed to the 64bit version and my system boots now without problems. The 82579LM NIC is recognized and can be used or ignored.
Intel AMT is working now :)

Sorry, here is the configuration:
It's a Intel Executive Series DQ67SWB3 board with a i3-2120 CPU and three Intel EXPI9301CT NICs.
It's powered by a 90W picopsu and now consuming about 33 Watts :)
I have here a 100MBit cable connection and a 10MBit dsl connection.
Before I decided to build my own router I have tried a Vigor 2920n and a Netgear ProSafe SRX 5308.
My new box outperforms the other routers completely ;D
