To use it only as a proxy for tracking internet traffic how to (in bridge mode)?
-
I know there is a close how to for setting pfsense up as a bridge, but that does not work for me.
I have a firewall that I am not looking to replace, we just want to track internet usage to see what is using our bandwidth and what users are doing.
We have four internal class C networks (192.168.200 - 203.0). The firewall handles the routing between networks and is the .1 address and gateway on each.
I have tried to put pfsense in place but it blocks all traffic so I am doing something wrong, but I am not sure what.
I have a bridge configured between the WAN and LAN interfaces.
How should I go about this?

System –> Advanced --> select the Firewall/Nat tab and tick the box that says Disable Firewall.
Basically it will then become a router that produces nice graphs and that you can add a few packages to so that you can see what is using the bandwidth

I get this when I try that:
Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /usr/local/www/system_advanced_firewall.php on line 148
