I recently did a pdf to help users of the voip service I use to configure siproxd behind pfSense. Might help others who are looking for some basics…

      Working terrific here...

Great guide.  Would I need to change my trunk settings (for my outgoing and incoming?  I'm totally new to this so sorry if this is a silly question.

Are you talking about a sip server behind your firewall?

This guide is geared towards client units behind pfSense pointed to a server elsewhere…

            Hi chpalmer,
I followed your guide, precise step by step, but…...... No success!
I'm using pfsense 2.01 and a Cisco SPA112 ATA, 2 lines (sipgate) configured

I have problems with the RTP streams:
Calling from outside it works fine on both lines, but from inside to outside the inside phone hears nothing - also with both lines. In the firewall logs i could find no hint. Any ideas?

            Best regards
            Guenther

…. I just saw, that on the WAN interface UDP 16xxx is being blocked! Do I need to add a rule to pass it?

              Jul 4 03:00:53 WAN 217.xx.xx.xx:18113 91.xx.xx.xx:16399 UDP

You had no rules at all configured!
              What is my mistake?

              regards
              Guenther
