WebGUI / SSH Console stop working after 4 x BCE interfaces have activated
-
The WebGUI and any new attempt of SSH connection to firewall will stop working after activate all 4 x BCE interfaces (enabled in WebGUI), regardless it is plugged to the switch or have assigned IP address. At the same time, other computers routing through the pfsense firewall are working fine. If I bring down any 1 interface via console, for example ifconfig bce3 down, the access to WebGUI is okay again. If I had SSH connection to pfsense is connected BEFORE all BCE are up, the connection still maintain.
I tried a few AMD64 installer snapshot (Feb 26, Mar 26, Apr 18) all have lost access to WebGUI problem.
I also have the bge dropping connection bug#1425 with my hardware.
Any idea? Please let me know for further information if you need. Thank you.
Hardware: Dell Optiplex T110, with BCM5709 dual port card x 2, plus built in BCM5722

I'm running a HP DL360 G7 here with 4 BCE interfaces all active and no problems. I have increased the following to get over various connection problems kern.ipc.nmbclusters=98304
That may be a little high for your system, depending on how much memory you have installed. This box has 12GB.
To test for nmbcluster problems
netstat -m
16323/8765/25088 mbufs in use (current/cache/total)
16321/7269/23590/98304 mbuf clusters in use (current/cache/total/max)
16320/4544 mbuf+clusters out of packet secondary zone in use (current/cache)
0/135/135/12800 4k (page size) jumbo clusters in use (current/cache/total/max)
0/0/0/6400 9k jumbo clusters in use (current/cache/total/max)
0/0/0/3200 16k jumbo clusters in use (current/cache/total/max)
40803K/19460K/60264K bytes allocated to network (current/cache/total)
0/0/0 requests for mbufs denied (mbufs/clusters/mbuf+clusters)
0/0/0 requests for jumbo clusters denied (4k/9k/16k)
0/0/0 sfbufs in use (current/peak/max)
0 requests for sfbufs denied
0 requests for sfbufs delayed
0 requests for I/O initiated by sendfile
0 calls to protocol drain routinesand see what the line in red gives you.
Can't say I've encountered the dropping connection bug so I can offer no advice.

Thanks for the suggestion! Increase the kern.ipc.nmbclusters from 25600->51200 did stop the WebGUI non-response problem. I am still monitoring for any side effect.
My mbufs denied line was like:
0/259946/57104 requests for mbufs denied (mbufs/clusters/mbuf+clusters)
and Now:
0/0/0 requests for mbufs denied (mbufs/clusters/mbuf+clusters)
