Mail Report : How to mail other messages

Hello!

We just added the 'Mail Report' package to our pfSense 2.0.1(amd64).

We were wondering how to send other email messages to our E-mail address…
How to send message about how much space is left on the disk etc.

Is there any solution for this out there?

No solution for that yet.

I intend to add that to the package eventually, but the original part of the package (for rrd graphs) was funded so that got priority.

Hi,

I'm also interested in being able to send email messages from my pfsense.

Since the pfsense webconfigurator already has configured a MTA with servername, addresses and authentication etc, I thought that everything needed were there and it was only a matter of knowing the commands and parameters to be able to send messages?

I don't mind using any command interpreter if I only know the syntax to use.  (Message subject, Message body and Send it…)
