Since I got the XBOX360 working a treat behind pfsense, and I've got it set to cache Windows updates, is there a way I can also add the following downloads, so that it will cache those as well?

Microsoft Security Essentials (GF uses it, I dont know why, but she does, and she installed in on the communal pc in the kitchen)
      XBOX Live Downloads

I followed the guide to cache the downloads from Windows Update, that works a treat, but I'd just like to find out if we could possibly add the MSSE to cache through squid, like the windows updates, XBOX stuff is optional

I don't see caching security updates to be a good idea at all.  Plus the MSSE updates are tiny, i wouldn't bother even worrying about this

It's a good idea to save bandwidth.

So is there going to be any easy way for me now to best work out the "correct" squid settings for me to produce a better HIT than MISS ?

Or is it just experiment :D
