Squid caching downloads

Since I got the XBOX360 working a treat behind pfsense, and I've got it set to cache Windows updates, is there a way I can also add the following downloads, so that it will cache those as well?
Microsoft Security Essentials (GF uses it, I dont know why, but she does, and she installed in on the communal pc in the kitchen)
XBOX Live DownloadsI followed the guide to cache the downloads from Windows Update, that works a treat, but I'd just like to find out if we could possibly add the MSSE to cache through squid, like the windows updates, XBOX stuff is optional

I don't see caching security updates to be a good idea at all. Plus the MSSE updates are tiny, i wouldn't bother even worrying about this

It's a good idea to save bandwidth.

So is there going to be any easy way for me now to best work out the "correct" squid settings for me to produce a better HIT than MISS ?
Or is it just experiment :D

Ok discovered how i can be able to cache some of the youtube stuff, but need to know the best way to add what it says to squid:
