Install Package from the shell
-
Hi everyone !
I'd like to install Csync2 from a tar.gz on my pfsense's shell. I've unzipp the tar.gz but now I do not know how I can install it on the pfsense, the command install or make install doesn't seem to work and after several searches over the web I couldn't find a way to do this.
And it's written nowhere on the README file how to install the package…
Do you know what the command is or something that could help me ?
Thanks a lot for your help and time =) !

pkg_add -r path..name.tbz
or
pkg_add -r url..name.tbz

Thanks for your quick answer but what if I cannot have a tbz package ? No way to install something else than a tbz ?

It is on freebsd ports, you do not need to compile it
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=Csync2&stype=all
get the tbz package from freebsd archive:
