PfSense and Ntop Q
-
Hi,
I have the Pfsense 2.0 release version and just installed Ntop package and all went well. But when I checked the "Status->Services" page on PfSense it shows that the Ntop service is "Stopped".
When I try to restart the service again, On upper part of the screen it stated “ntop has been started.”, while the status below still stated “Stopped”. When Trying to access the "Diagnostic: Ntop Settings -> Access Ntop", the browser opens but timed out.
What else do I need to get Ntop working. Have tried to unistalled and reinstall Ntop afew times, by the way the Pfsense is running with the latest update. Thanks.
Regards.

Most likely you did not setup ntop, which is necessary for it to work, under Diagnostics right below ntop there is ntop settings, select that.
Then set a password and choose the LAN interface and click change.

Thanks. That fixed the problem.
