Through my LAN network, if I try to access website it gets resolved only by IP address
Hi I have a Corporate Website located in US  but through my LAN network, if I try to access website using IP it opens but when i try using the DNS say for eg quality.cam.com it doesn't get resolved . From Public network the DNS resolves but not from my LAN.

Kindly let me know what could be the issue.

      Regards,
      Milind

        More information would be helpful.

What name server should the LAN system be using? Is the LAN system correctly correctly for that (static IP) or getting the correct name server IP address from its DHCP server? Is the DHCP server configured to supply the correct address?

Perhaps your firewall is blocking all access to the name server. Perhaps the firewall is blocking DNS access to the name server.
