[SOLVED] 1:1 Mapping - VIP to VIP NAT possible?
-
Hi,
I am trying to use 1:1 mapping to NAT from one OPT interface with a VIP stacked on top, to another. Here is the setup;
OPT1: Parent Address 192.168.200.254/24
VIP ontop of OPT1: 192.168.200.10/32, type=IP AliasOPT2: Parent Address 192.168.89/32 (this is purely here to allow the interface to have VIPs, this addressed is never used)
VIP ontop of OPT2: 192.168.80.254/24The host I am attempting to NAT to is 192.168.80.100.
My NAT configuration is;
Interface=OPT1, External IP=192.168.200.10, Internal IP=192.168.80.100, Destination IP=*
Pings are possible, but TCP traffic silently dissapears (nothing in packet trace or logs).
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Regards,
Tom

Fixed! Had to change NAT reflection to enabled. Didn't think I needed it as the incoming route was to the OPT1 interface, maybe because it isn't a true WAN interface under the hood?
Hopefully might be useful as another worked example…
