I'm getting an sk0: can not stop transfer of tx descriptor in pfsense which causes some of the computers' (62 total) to stop. Could this be a pfsense failure, a virus, or a faulty nic (server or clients)?

      Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like a flaky NIC or driver. If you are on 1.2.3, you could either swap the NIC or try 2.0 instead. If you're already on 2.0, try a different NIC.
