      Hello friends
      my spec is below.
it's an embedded  on alix board

      pfsense
      2.1-DEVELOPMENT (i386)
built on Wed May 2 08:30:27 EDT 2012
      FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE

      sarg
      2.3.2 pkg v.0.4.2_1

      squid
      2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.1

Installation is successful and when i try to see the log in real time via sarg
      Status->sarg report->Realtime->showlog
      it throws me an error

Warning: file_get_contents(/usr/local/etc/sarg/sarg.conf): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/sarg_queue.php on line 55 Warning: file_put_contents(/usr/local/etc/sarg/sarg.conf): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/sarg_queue.php on line 60

but i can see logs in realtime from console with trail -f access.log
is there any extra configuration that i need to do in sarg
      Thanks
      kalu

i love pfsense because i love open source.

and to my surprise sarg has not created sarg folder inside /usr/local/etc/
do we need to create it manually ??

        [2.1-DEVELOPMENT][kalu@localhost]/usr/local/etc(10): ls
        devd    man.d  pam.d  php.ini rc.d    squid

or sarg is not currently supported in 2.1 development version
        Thanks

try to reinstall the package using conf_mount_rw and then pkg_delete and pkg_add . I did not created the pbi packages for sarg.

            sorry marcelloc
i'm not that comfortable with "cli"
i get this when i tried to do something smart on cli

            [2.1-DEVELOPMENT][admin@localhost]/root(1): sarg
            sarg: Command not found.
            [2.1-DEVELOPMENT][admin@localhost]/root(2): pkg_delete sarg
pkg_delete: no such package 'sarg' installed
            [2.1-DEVELOPMENT][admin@localhost]/root(3): conf_mount_rw
            conf_mount_rw: Command not found.
            [2.1-DEVELOPMENT][admin@localhost]/root(4):

could you please elaborate a bit more or give me a link on how to do it , excluding www.google.com :p
            thanks

The menu will appear after you install gui package from system-> packages.

after the install, sarg menu is in status -> sarg reports
