Not sure what I did while working on some VLAN stuff (on a different parent port), but the "LAN" DHCP server suddenly stopped working.
Not seeing any entries in the DHCP log tab either.

I've gone through and checked the setup, but everything looks correct.  How can I continue to diagnose this?

Okay…went through and deleted the new VLAN entries I made (4) and their assignments....which automatically removed their DHCP server entries I created too.
Did a "Clear Log" in the DHCP log section (which restarts the dhcp daemon) and lo' and behold...the DHCP service on the LAN started working again.

Any ideas why it would do this?

So went back and added just a single VLAN entry to vr2…by the book (literally pgs. 181-183)
Enabled the interface, setup the DHCP server.
          BAM.

DHCP service on the LAN (vr1) is down again.  WTH??

Simply deleting the interface assignment for the VLAN and restarting dhcpd gets things going again.

          [EDIT]
Leaving everything as-is and then disabling the VLAN's DHCP server, then re-starting the LAN dhcpd, also is enough to get the LAN DHCP daemon running again.

Any clues in the DHCP log? Perhaps your cnfiguration changes resulted in an error in the dhcpd configuration file and that maybe reported in the DHCP log.

Is the DHCP server still running even though it is apparently not providing service?

Went back and deleted all the VLANs again and set them up, one by one, and disabled the DHCP daemon for each one as I went.
I was able to get them all setup this way and still have the LAN DHCP service functioning.

Went back in and enabled JUST the VLAN40 DHCP server and restarted the DHCP daemon.  It continued to work….. ???

Really didn't do anything different this time, from a setup perspective.  What I did originally should have been fine.
Not sure why it's acting normally now.  Hate when things fix themselves!  I'd rather it stay broken so I could understand what the problem was until I fixed it.
