      Hi,

I have a proxy server up and running on wan interface.
My question is if i can create somehow a SSL proxy server, i just read something in some post about reverse ssl proxy server….
I just want that all traffic that is made between servers to be less detectable and traceable...i think that i should use ssl proxy, or it's all about port that it's listening on ?(sorry if i made some wrong assumptions).
Also i have in squid submenu acess control:
'acl safeports This is a space-separated list of "safe ports" in addition to the already defined list: 21 70 80 210 280 443 488 563 591 631 777 901 1025-65535'  and  'acl sslports This is a space-separated list of ports to allow SSL "CONNECT" in addition to the already defined list: 443 563'  This means that on ports 443 and 563 i have a secure proxy connection to squid proxy server started ? without any other config.

How can be created ? now i have just squid installed and is working as http proxy server on a listening port.

      Thanks !

I am not sure if everyone is understanding your question.
with squid3 package it is possible to run squid as proxy and as reverse-proxy.
