Can i have my clients always receive the same IP via DHCP?
-
My setup is basically as a WISP. My clients antenna conects and receives an IP via DHCP. I ould like it, for managemente purposes for their antenna to always get the same IP even when the DHCP lease expires, is this possible? Or how can i make that DHCP lease alot longer?

In Services -> DHCP Server, down the bottom of the page click "+" to add IP addresses to be assigned to specific MAC addresses.

In Services -> DHCP Server specify your desired value for Default lease time.

Thanks for that. I did try that but then they disappeared out of the DHCP lease list.. i guess that is normal.. I just wanted 1 place to be able to see the static and the leases together

Which DHCP lease list: Status -> DHCP Leases? My systems with fixed IP addresses (tied to MAC addresses) appear in Status -> DHCP leases

Ah ok, i will try that again. What i did was in the DHCP lease list, i clicked next to it whenre it says something about putting a static mapping.. when i did this it removed it from the lease list

Yes.. you can do this…
If you record the mac addresses of the computers you can add them to this DHCP scope...
