    Pfsense cant detect my nics

      i only got 1 nic detected but monowall detects both my nics and so does untangle. pls help

          yes i did that and it now says network interface mismatch. i set wan as re0 and lan as re1 as both cards are recognized ..is that ok?

          btw what is this img file for CF i copied 2g on my 4gb cf using phydiskwrite but it wont load ..just stops at BTX screen..and why are there so many versions 2g 1g 4g..

          forgive my ignorance im a noob

            Usually this is happening when you have nano bsd installed and you are trying to follow the boot sequence through the VGA port. In that case, you will have to attach the null modem cable and connect through the serial port. Nano bsd does not load VGA drivers.

            To support different sizes of CF cards as you now can upgrade and install some packages on nanobsd.

            If your new to networking and pfSense the book will really help you out
