After unplugging and then replugging my secondary WAN (GW_OPT1 on hme3) the link to the WAN doesn't recover
Status -> Interfaces shows the link is up
Status -> Gateways shows Offline for WAN
ifconfig hme3 shows the status as active

      System log shows:
      Jun 11 14:03:06 check_reload_status: Linkup starting hme3
Jun 11 14:03:06 kernel: hme3: link state changed to UP
      Jun 11 14:03:08 check_reload_status: could not run: /etc/rc.linkup start hme3

      uname -a

      FreeBSD pfsense.local 8.1-RELEASE-p4 FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p4 #1: Fri Jun 10 21:01:16 EDT 2011     sullrich@FreeBSD_8.0_pfSense_2.0-snaps.pfsense.org:/usr/obj.pfSense/usr/pfSensesrc/src/sys/pfSense_SMP.8  i386

Manually taking hme down and up with ifconfig brings the link back up.

When the WAN connection is unplugged the SSH session from a PC on the LAN is also lost…

Took the latest build: Sat Jun 11 22:37:37 EDT 2011
      No change.
Note that the first time the interface is unplugged then replugged it all works fine (though the rc.linkup message also appears in the log) second time the connection doesn't recover and needs an ifconfig down/up cycle.

      Suggestions most welcome!
