The exact Version of the previous version is:

      2.1-DEVELOPMENT (i386)
built on Mon Apr 23 08:11:16 EDT 2012

I tried to delete all config regarding the PPP IF and then I configured the IF again. But is doesn´t work, either…

same problem this is critical… interface config is totally broken  worked fine after update but cannot fix interface now and connect reconfigure as DHCP either

I got my client up by turning on PPPoE on their modem and enabling IP pass-through, this is obviously far from ideal since when the IP address changes (and CenturyLink changes them a lot), the client will need to power cycle everything. They're running CenturyLink and a Westell 6100 modem. No WAN-side VLAN's. Same exact problem. Worked for a few hours after upgrading then just failed. WAN shows like it's up (green) but no IP and doesn't work. Working now, set to DHCP, IP passtrhrough enabled. Again, FAR from ideal.

My hunch would be that this is related to the vlan patches

I would have thought so too, but I'm on a VLAN for PPPoE and I'm having the same exact symptoms…

Just backed out another vlan patch that was left lingering, the next snapshot should be better now.

okay, hopefully this will fix it…  right now this install is using the modem for PPPoE...

I will test it and report.

Thank you, for sour support! :)

built on Thu Jun 28 09:21:16 EDT 2012

appears to be fixed here too :) - curious how a VLAN patch could cause this though when my PPPoE isn't on a VLAN… I just ask because it worked for a few hours after the upgrade the first time THEN died with the symptoms the OP reported... want to make sure it doesn't go down again in a few more hours :)
