    Hi,

I want to offer my friends free/open wifi for my network, but separating them from the LAN interface. I would do this by hooking up an AP to the OPT1 interface. It would need a DHCP server enabled. Could someone tell me how to do this? Thanks.

Set another subnet for OPT1 than lan and enable dhcp for opt1
PFSense create automatic route tables between this two interfaces… and you can set a rules for this opt1 interface that block all traffic from opt1 to lan.
