      They get to us but we don't typically peruse them at random, we usually only look at them when someone mentions they had a problem and says they submitted them.

      There is quite a bit of noise in the system unfortunately, it's difficult to tell what crashes are just from flaky hardware or from someone who was monkeying with code… So unless someone tells us "I had issue X, I submitted a crash report", we only go through them on rare occasions.

        I just sent one for captive portal crashing .
        I created a bug report on redmine this morning as well.
        Seems If I disconnect a user CP crashes . I have to save the main CP page to get it going again.

          After each OS update I typically have one or more of these.
          I guess next time I upgrade I'll mention that I sent them.
          Alternatively, I could copy/paste them, post them here…

            If it's PHP errors, the forum is much better for that.

            For kernel panics/textdumps, it's better to submit them.

                  The ones in package files need to be reported to their maintainers (start a thread for each, since most of them hang out here and don't watch the ticket system necessarily).

                  The pfsense-utils one, add a note to http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/2114 about it

                      A lot of these crashers have been fixed in the last few rounds, this one however is (the) one (of the few(?)) that persists:
