      Hi,

I've setup speed limit using this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Usi195rK35I
But was wondering if there's a way to setup monthly quota together per user?

      Thanks!

I like to fill my tub up with water, then turn the shower on and act like I'm in a submarine that's been hit!

I haven't got around to following this up again for myself, but I kept ending up at http://www.dmasoftlab.com/ when looking for this capability.

            Hi,

using freeradius2 package + CaptivePortal can do both.

If you don't like that a user have to enter username/password on CP then you can do that with MAC auth.
Then the CaptivePortal will use the MAC address to authenticate against freeradius2, check for bandwidth and volume and then allow or deny the user.

PS: you need pfsense 2.0.2RC or pfsense 2.1 for volume limit to work correctly. pfsense 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 have a bug.

              Thanks for the replies guys!

I'm on 2.0.1-RELEASE (i386) so I guess I'll have to wait for the next final version to come and upgrade.
Now at least I know its possible.
