Serious console problem with latest generation Atoms (D2500, D2700, N2800)

As stated in this thread, there are some serious problems with displaying console text on latest gen Atoms, especially on x64, which makes it impossible to install pfSense x64. A fix has been released and I was wondering if this could be included in v2.1.

I second that, it would be great to get that patch included in 2.1 so I can switch the D2700 install I have over to x64…

Yes, would like to have that fixed as well.
But I'm having even more problems with this board, but will open another thread for that

Now that there's an upstream fix, perhaps someone should open a ticket to see if it can be implemented in pfSense?

The patch was submitted 12+ hours ago, so any later build should include it.

Loaded the 20120825 AMD snapshot and the console problem is solved.
