      Hello

I have a question. Is it possible to limit the download speed after some time.
Example: Full speed for ~2min. If the download isnt finished the speed should be limited.
When I download a other file the time should start from 0.

Yes, setup the upper limit. You can do this for all queues or for just certain ones.

The format for service curve specifications is (m1, d, m2). m2 controls the bandwidth assigned to the queue. m1 and d are optional and can be used to control the initial bandwidth assignment. For the first d milliseconds the queue gets the bandwidth given as m1, afterwards the value given in m2.

thanks. I tried to use the limiter. But It isnt working.
I tried 40 kbit/s but I still can download with full speed. Of course I have the FW rules in the Lan interface. I also deletet the states.
I also rebootet the PFsense without effect.

          Im using 2.0-RELEASE (i386)

Where can I finde this settings. Under Limiter or By Interface? and is it possible to set this per IP. So that the Download Server has full speed and the other PCs are limited after some time

That is in the traffic shaping rules and not the limiter. I have not utilized the limiter yet.
