Need assistance with snort in pfsense.

I am glad to be among unix friends. ;D
This is my first post in this forum I hope to be a long time member in.

I am not a noob however I am new to snort an running servers and networks.
I am trying to read the downloaded file from snort, which is running fine.

I am wondering if I actually have to install snort on my actual computer, after installing it on my firewall. 
I am hoping there is a nice gui that will allow me to view the packets in the web configuration rather than in cmd or terminal.
I have used snort before with just windows and wincap but not with pf sense.
