      I'm getting a lot "STP 802.1w" on LAN side, is this normal?

      STP 802.1w, Rapid STP, Flags [Forward], bridge-id 8000.40:01:c6:e9:1d:c3.8001, length 47

        Yes, just means you have a STP-enabled switch.
