Trusted source for checksums?
-
Is there any official/trusted source for the pfsense checksums? I can only find them on the mirrors, but that doesn't make much sense from a security perspective…

The files.pfsense.org server is the master to the other mirrors. We don't have the checksums posted elsewhere at the moment, but it would be the best place to find the "originals".

Thank you, I didn't note that some of the mirrors are "more official". Maybe for the future one could post the checksums somewhere centrally on the normal website?

They're there now. Also at files.nyi.pfsense.org. files.nyi and files.chi are the two main mirrors we fully control, I'd check against one or both of those.
