      Hi,

we plan to setup two new pfsense-boxes each with 8 GB RAM, bases on Intel-Architecture. Will the 32-bit image recognize then upper 4 GB? The only 64-bit image i have seen is for AMDs. Is there a way to solve this?

Thanks for all hints and ideas.
      Fred

        No.

AMD developed the amd64 architecture and implemented it. Intel subsequently implemented it. Use the amd64 image on any AMD x86 or Intel x86 CPU that supports the 64bit extensions.
