        Dns server requires 2 public ip how can i assign public IP to vps from behind pfsense,

        is it even possible to assaign a public ip to a vps from behind pfsense?
        I can easily managed to assign vps with local ip and later do a NAT but i can't managed to do it with local IP's

        these are my interfaces
        1=WAN my public ip
        2=Lan 10.0.1.10
        3
        4
        5
        6

        Please help

          Lan1 ip to be 96.57.xxx.227
          Lan2 to be 96.57.xxx.228

          how can i achieve such setup?

          It is not possible to have two or more interfaces in the same machine that belong to the same network.

              What you want to accomplish?
              if you want to use certain public ip from outside to inside connections, you need few steps

              1. Create ip-alias, i prefer vip
              2. Create portforward rule using that vip as internet side ip

              if you want to use certain public ip from inside to outside connections, you need also few steps

              1. Same as earlier
              2. Create Manual outbound rules with that vip address

                  vip are used with static ip's
                  I think that carp vip's are better with dhcp, cause those have mac-addresses

                    i just want to host multiple vps behind a pfsense firewall, some of the vps like the two dns servers require the use of public ips.

                      That is something what i haven't done yet with pfsense(public ip behind pfsense). But i think, that manual outbound nat is something, which can help you at least with missing rule.

                        alright so im going to try it with 1:1 nat since its simple and easy. I want to 1:1 Nat but in order to do that the dhcp from pfsense needs to automatically assign the ip from the DHCP available ip list to the vps. In my case the vps are being created via the solusvm interface and it doesn't give you the option to obtain the ip via dhcp like a normal server would.
