      I do not recall seeing this in the system logs before.  I just did a clean install to the latest x86 snapshot built on Fri Aug 26 18:54:18 EDT 2011.

      I did enable "Hardware TCP Segmentation Offloading" and "Hardware Large Receive Offloading" as I am using an Intel nic.  Not sure if this is related.

      I have also had the system lock up twice with Kernel Trap 12.

        It's to do with licensng for Intel WiFi NICs. You can ignore it if you don't use Intel WiFi NICs,

        If I recall correctly, snapshot builds have been reporting this for months, if not years.

          create a file called loader.conf.local in /boot
          loader.conf will be overwritten after every update - loader.conf.local will not.

          put this in it:

          legal.intel_wpi.license_ack=1
          legal.intel_ipw.license_ack=1
