      Hi every one,

I have actually purchase CASWELL CAD-2015 as it has quit good hardware specification with small footprint and would be able to run pfSense image "pfSense-2.0.2-RELEASE-1g-i386-nanobsd_vga.img" but it could load the NIC driver even thought it has recognized the NIC (ro0-ro3) as I have researched that by base of OS of FreeBSD 8.1, it does not come with NIC driver for Realtak RTL8111x :o.

So could some one let me know how to add this driver to the image and pre-configure to load the driver before write the image to CF-CARD.

to find more detail about the equipment, manual an other screen capture while bootup, you can download from my link here http://is.gd/XnOOfN

Hope got some one figure out how to fix it. ;-)

You can't add drivers (well, if you can backport kernel drivers, apply our patch sets, and build a kernel, sure. But if you have to ask, it's not something you can do). You should be fine running a 2.1 snapshot on that hardware, check the 2.1 board here for details.

I would run 2.1 snapshot to test out. But if you could lead me to have the patch and a bit guide me for kernel build, I would try it.

You realise this is a major undertaking. Not something you could do unless you have significant experience with FreeBSD.

You should at least run the 2.1 snapshot to test the driver:

Yes, I have tested on 2.1. It's working well.
