      Hi Steve et-el

Thanks for the patience and help. Its working on its own now. The gateway has no PPPOE and is just passing the signal into the pfSense. So i am confident i will no longer have saturation problems. What else do you suggest i do? QoS and cap the torrents? Which package would be best for that?

        Excellent!  :)

You don't need a package for QoS/traffic shaping it's built in.

It's quite complex and it's easy to get things configures incorrectly. Use the wizards to setup something basic and then tweak it from there.

I would advise you to run it for, say, a week to make sure that your current setup is working as you want it under any conditions you might experience before trying and traffic shaping though.

        Steve
