                            sudah ada disini perhatikan dihalaman sebelumnya, tapi yang jadi pegangan seberapa besar permintaan user bisa terpenuhi ambil dari cache bukan dari koneksi REAL WAN, dengan banyaknya size hd cache tidak juga menjamin banyak hit, :) tapi punya si om phython diatas sudah bagus, ngeliat usernya banyak jg. malah punya sy lebih kecil :

                              terima kasih buat om poscom yg udah membantu menilai kinerja Lusca Surya di padepokan saya, di tempat saya rata2 menggunakan wifi untuk koneksi internetnya, terkadang koneksinya lola banget dan kalo user nya sedikt (kalo pagi / sore) baru ngebut dah internetnya. apa rebutan kayak gitu ya  ??? ??? ??? saia udah mencoba cara2 yg ada ya mungkin perlu banyak in trial errornya  ;D

                                sifatnya si lusca hanya membantu tentunya bisa kita maksimalkan dengan cara liat lognya mereka banyak buka apa, tar dibuatkan agar bisa ke cache, makanya sy pake SG (block) agar yg file2 tidak berguna jangan masuk, liat ideal BW nya kira2 kebagi ga dgn banyaknya user, trus bw harus di manag dibagi upload/donload. dgn memperhatikan spek td lumayan cache sangat berguna terasa di putaran atas sewaktu di betot gas (kayak karbu motor) :)

                                  sifatnya si lusca hanya membantu tentunya bisa kita maksimalkan dengan cara liat lognya mereka banyak buka apa, tar dibuatkan agar bisa ke cache, makanya sy pake SG (block) agar yg file2 tidak berguna jangan masuk, liat ideal BW nya kira2 kebagi ga dgn banyaknya user, trus bw harus di manag dibagi upload/donload. dgn memperhatikan spek td lumayan cache sangat berguna terasa di putaran atas sewaktu di betot gas (kayak karbu motor) :)

                                    klo ngamuk harus dilawan dong.. he..he.. banyak kegunaannya sg itu bukan hanya xxx sj.
                                    buat ngamanin kita juga :)  pake sg file guede yg sekali orang buka /jarang buka ke block, jd ga banyak miss. semua tergantung seleranya sih tiap2 jaringan berbeda.

                                      cara ngecek sas gmn om?? maklum dikasih server yg built upan jd maen install aja, solusi yg berlebihan gmn om poscom?

                                        Sekedar berpendapat saja :

                                        Dengan user 90-an lebih dan dengan spesifikasi CPU yg relatif Tinggi (Ram, MB dll) seperti diatas, akan lebih baik kalo memaksimalkan cache nya dengan Cache memory. Tapi Jumlah memory yg dipergunakan untuk cache tidak boleh melebihi 50% dari total Memory yg ada.
                                        Selain itu perlu pemisahan HD untuk system dan HD untuk Cache squid. Kalo perlu system menggunakan Flashdisk. Dan Cache menggunakan HD yg kapasitasnya Besar.

                                        Mengenai miss yg relatif besar itu bisa juga dikarenakan berbagai faktor mulai dari Aturan Rules yang dibuat, sampai dengan settingan Squidnya sendiri (storeurl.pl, squid.conf, include.conf, reffresh.conf, dll)

                                        Secara umum (tapi tergantung dari tiap2 individu) agar user selalu mengarah ke squid biasanya diberi aturan kira2 :

                                        pass out quick on $int_if proto tcp to any port http \

                                        rdr-to 127.0.0.1 port 3218

                                        Dan

                                        pass in on $int_if

                                        NB :
                                        Nah .. Agar Lusca Cache nya biar bisa jadi Lusca-Surya itu Om Poscom yang jadi juru kuncinya. :)
