Hi all, recently - I started college. And I'm looking to link up my home PFsense box with the one I have setup here at the college. But I'm unsure how to approach this, or if it's even possible.

What I wish to achieve: I'd like to be able to access resources on home home network, from the college, as if all the computers among both networks, are on the same network.

One of the main reason's I'd like to be able to do this is to easily connect to the printers at home, to print things for my parents from the college.

      Thanks all,
      Aaron

You should use Site-to-Site VPN to achieve this. How to do that is described here: http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/OpenVPN_Site-to-Site_%28Shared_Key,_2.0%29
