      Hi …

is it possible to rewrite URLs through the Squid reverse Proxy ?

i've one ip, some subdomains pointing to this ip.

what i wanna do is to rewrite the URLs

      http://mail.a.b to http://mail.a.b/mail
      http://file.a.b to http://(mail/file).a.b/file
      https://mail.a.b to https://mail.a.b/mail
      https://file.a.b to https://(mail/file).a.b/file

(mail/file ... all resist on one Server - which has no VirtualHost capability)

      Thanks & Regards,
      michael

Isn't better just an HTML pointing mail.a.b to mail.a.b/mail?

Redirects from /x to /y are easy in most reverse proxies, but / to /x in most times I've tried, messed up website.

          ok.

but what about redirects http to https?

i have some local services. they uses 80 port and clean http
but outside local network i wish to use them with https.

before i was using TMG, but it is soooo sloooow, so i decided to move to pfsense.
and this is only one question that i didn't find the answer :(
