      Hi guys,

Really struggling to get this install off the ground using 1 NIC.

Can anyone point me to some info on exactly how i should have my virtual networks set up and why?
Planning to have Modem > PFsense virtualisation > LAN
      Thanks In Advance.

Get another nic would be the best solution ;)

Its one thing to run a couple of vlans off one lan nic..  But all you have is 1 nic that you going to connect to the public net, and then you want to vlan that for your lan side as well??

What are you running pfsense as vm on that you only have 1 nic?

Right, if you don't have a switch that supports VLAN tagging (and know how to set that up), there's not much we can do to help.  Either a switch that supports VLANs or another NIC is what you need.  But, do yourself a favor and do not get a USB NIC.

If you tell us more about what hardware you're running on we can help point you in the direction of inexpensive NICs or other solutions.
