I changed to 64-bit to open up another GB of RAM to feel comfortable running ntop. I know, not supported, but yeah. Now ntop when installed won't start:

    ntop
Sun Feb 17 23:21:12 2013  NOTE: Interface merge enabled by default
Sun Feb 17 23:21:12 2013  Initializing gdbm databases
    gdbm fatal: malloc error

Also, I posted in the FreeRadius2 package thread, but I can't get FreeRADIUS2 to work anymore either. It starts but stays pegged at 25% CPU load and doesn't respond at all.

I guess you reinstalled and used your old config? Please look at firmware updater settings if you are using the correct architecture there now. Happened to me once, I installed a 64 Bit System, put in my old config, accidentially upgraded to an newer 32 bit Snapshot because the old updater URL with 32 Bit was still there. After that freeradius, ntp etc would not start.

Didn't reinstall just upgraded. Cleared RRD data as it says to at http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Upgrade_Guide#Changing_architecture_.2832_bit_to_64_bit_or_vice_versa.29_during_upgrade
