Newbie Problems

Hello everybody
I've been working at getting IPV6 up and running for the last couple of days and have been having a lot of trouble piecing together the info from all the different places I've found it. So, I'll start with my first questions, and once I'm finished this process, I'll put up a comprehensive how-to/where to find it page when I'm done. :)
First questions:
In the auto updater, what are the proper urls to input for Base url?In the auto updater, wWhat is the url for the gitsync repository?
cheers

Hey folks
Ok, so I have IPV6 up and working, 10/10 on IPV6test. I still can't find an answer to my firmware update issue. I find different answers wherever I look.
IPV6 tutorial shows a drop down menu item for: pfsense 2.0 RC i386 Snapshots
This doesn't appear on my setup. The url shown is cut off at: http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_
Can't find the full url listed anywhere. In the git hub settings, the tutorial shows:git://github.com/pfsense/pfsense.git
I've found other documentation that says it should now be: git://github.com/smos/pfsense-ipv6.git
I'm not sure if its correct or if there is another newer url somewhere I haven't found yet.In any event, my auto update fails every time with a generic: Unable to check for updates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

Your "Firmware Auto Update URL" link should be http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/amd64/pfSense_RELENG_2_0/.updaters/
Or i believe your URL (since your using i386) would replace the amd64 part, but everything else should be the same.
Your going to see your auto update fail right now. Mine has been doing it for like 2-3 weeks now. Try accessing http://snapshots.pfsense.org to see the problem.
For some reason pfSense team has taken down snapshots. Just a message saying they will return soon. So until they bring them back online there will be no updating that can be done.
pfSense team was previously using a different git source. The correct git source now is git://github.com/pfsense/pfsense.git

Thanks much for the info. Seems I had it right at one point (or maybe 2 or 3 times as I fiddled with the settings :) ), but the error message had me chasing my tail.
Thanks again.
cheers

I poked around further on the forums.
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,41922.0.html
Seems snapshots will not be made anymore, as 2.0 has reached it's final release.
Goto Default Auto Update URLs under Firmware > Updater Settings & choose the i386 one. It should auto add this link
http://updates.pfsense.org/_updaterssave changes. It should now say your on the latest release.

You can use the pfSense 2.0 image and then overlay the ipv6 tree via gitsync
