Bridge to WAN on PFS

Just kinda fooling around here and had the thought of trying to make a bridge from a desktop connected on wireless to a PFS box. However Win XP says it's connected to the wireless router, but when I plug eth0 on the desktop to the WAN on the PFS box, nothing happens.
Yes I have tried with a crossover cable and yes I have turned off file sharing.
Any thoughts?
